Tools - Transform ------------------------------------- - Added 'At least one data column must be included' message when @Match() in an AUDPC transformation formula fails to return any matching data columns. Previously the error dialog displayed only the transformation formula without any descriptive message. - Added ARM Action Code transformation function @APMAB to calculate 'Adjusted Percent Mortality - Abbotts' from the untreated check counts in 2 original data columns (similar to Henderson-Tilton). For example, if original treated insect count is in data column 1, and column 2 is the first post-treatment insect count, then to calculate Abbott's adjusted mortality in column 3: 1. Select '@APMAB[n,m]' from ARM Action Code validation list in column 3. 2. Change 'n' to 1 and 'm' to 2 in the ARM Action Code field of data column 3, giving: @APMAB[1,2] 3. Select 'P' from the ARM Action Code validation list in data column 3, to apply a 0-100 percent limit on calculated values. Another way to limit the calculated values to 0-100 is by selecting Rating Unit '%' for data column 3. 4. Right-click and select Recalc Transformations. These steps fill data column 3 with Abbott's adjusted percent mortality, against which to analyze Dose-Response. Tools - Options ------------------------------------- - Changed so when deleting a path from File tab using Shift+Del, the first letter of the current path was also deleted. - When OK is clicked on the Tools - Options - File dialog and the Synonym path is hidden, do not prompt to create a folder if the Synonym path does not exist. - Eliminated a prompt that sometimes occured asking whether to create a Synonym folder. Tools - Study Rules ------------------------------------- Changed 'Clear SE Name if entry changed' assessment data study rule to 'Modify SE name if entry changed'. Instead of clearing SE, add parentheses around SE name when field changes. Tools - Validate Entry ------------------------------------- - Changed so validation list column headings are no longer set to a prompt for a hidden field when a visible Site Description or Assessment Data header field did not have a prompt. - Changed so after clicking Copy button on master validation list, the current row is selected when pressing OK. Window - Treatments ------------------------------------- - Enhanced treatment editor so information typed into fields is not overwritten during refresh if the fields were blank when originally selected from a validation list. - Fixed so an undo after deleting protocol treatments no longer causes an index out of range error when treatment separators are in place. - Changed so pop-out view from editor Properties panel always displays beside the panel, when previously it may display on a second monitor when ARM was not maximized on the primary monitor. Window - Site Description ------------------------------------- - Enhanced so when pasting text that was copied from an outside source (such as Excel), a warning message displays if there are hidden fields within paste destination fields. The user is given option to paste to visible fields only, or paste to both visible and hidden fields. - Fixed an error 5 that could occur after entering a large amount of text in a Site Description long text grid field, and then selecting a different tab. Window - Assessment Data ------------------------------------- Changed so when copying an assessment header column in a trial, all assessment rows are now copied when: 1. a column was marked, 2. cursor was in another column, and 3. the marked column has a different subsample view. Window - Schedule Tasks ------------------------------------- - Changed so when multiple tasks are copied from Schedule Tasks editor and then pasted into a new protocol in the same ARM session, all tasks are now inserted correctly. - Fixed problem that pressing up or down arrow key in the Assigned To grid field may overwrite current field entry with first name in the list of available names. - Fixed problem that if task length on top of editor had focus, then clicking into a new grid row may apply task length change to the previous grid row. Study Definitions ------------------------------------- - Enhanced to run a customized Finish.bat when study definition folder changes and at ARM shutdown, to copy local study definition updates (such as product personal lists) back to a master study definition folder on a shared server. - Added to GDMdef new rate units FL OZ/Unit and OZ WT/Unit, and made visible the hidden OZ AI/Unit. - Added to GDMdef new Part Rated/Assessed codes NAWF (nodes above white flower) and NACB (nodes above cracked boll). - Added to GDMdef new Form Conc codes G A/HA and PRODCT as inactive codes, so these codes are hidden on validation list yet do not fail validation when opening certain corporate customized studies into GDMdef. - Changed so under ARM 8 reads the fixed study data path from the version independent registry location instead of the ARM 7 registry location, thus avoiding a Scout ARM 7 data path setting from influencing the ARM 8 data path. Installation ------------------------------------- ARMinLst.exe validation list merge utility: - If the currently installed list is corrupted, then ARMinLst.exe will overwrite it. - Added "ARMinLst" to messages that ARMinLst writes to the Install.log. - Corrected problem that *.lst8 files may not be installed under some operating systems. - Changed so file date stamp is only changed for merged validation list files when there is an actual change to the file. ST - File - Print ST Summary ------------------------------------- - Added new message indicating when mean comparisons are not performed on a grand means column because Treatment x Trial Prob(F) is significant. Edit - Copy/Paste ------------------------------------- - Fixed problem that when copying marked text in a long text field, the entire field would copy instead of just marked text. - Fixed problem that if part of a row is copied from a grid and the first column is hidden, when data was pasted into a new row the copied hidden column was pasted into first visible column. This prompt only displays when pasting to a group of fields that do not include any of the source fields (e.g. Collection Basis copied to Reporting Basis). Fixed several problems when printing to Word Processor: - Added User options to adjust cell margin and column width, while fixing a problem that tables were too wide to fit on a page. - Some horizontal page breaks (which occur when there are too many columns to fit on a page) did not generate new pages in the RTF file. - Some rich text and long text fields were not paginated correctly. The entire text would repeat on each page instead of the appropriate segment of text. - Trial Comments (or any rich text fields) containing embedded quotes could be truncated. Fixed problem that sometimes empty repeating sections printed on Site Description report when options were selected to eliminate empty fields. Fixed a problem that empty Site Description grid columns were too narrow when the option to print blanks was selected. A trailing underscore now prints in each grid cell identifying where the entry field ends. Fixed issue that no seed packet labels printed for studies using a study definition with no Treatment Type field, since no treatments were identified as seed/variety treatments. File - Print - Print to Word Processor ------------------------------------- Fixed problem that Trial Comments (or any RTF text) could truncate when the text contained embedded quotes. Fixed missing page breaks when Print to Word. Horizontal page breaks (which occur when there are too many columns to fit on a page) did not generate new pages in the RTF file. Fixed problem that tables were too wide to fit on a page when printed to RTF. Added new options 'Adjust RTF cell left/right margin by' and 'Increase RTF column width by'. Use RTF cell margin option to reduce left and right cell margin in word processor document to prevent word wrapping in table cells within a column. Use the RTF column width option to increase column width to duplicate ARM report column widths in word processor tables (which may be narrower than in ARM).
