Tools
AGM includes tools to work with
crossing blocks. Users can create a list of parents in a cross-block
design, and AGM will generate a list of all combinations. This view
displays any combinations already in the database, which can aid in
planning crossing blocks, as well as simplify data entry.

AGM integrates with ARM for field plot management. Users
can define multi-year, multi-location variety trials (nurseries) in AGM
and export to ARM studies. AGM tracks the location of ARM studies
generated via this mechanism.
These features allow users to easily find all ARM studies
with a specific population or crosses as an entry. This can simplify
organizing information prior to cultivar registration or release.

AGM also provides tools for managing entries from year to
year in different nurseries, and simplifies nursery analysis through
ARM.

This view shows the names and locations of all ARM
studies associated with the selected nursery. This view allows users to
simplify combining multi-year and multi-trial data for nursery summary
and crop recommendation reports.
