Printer:
A printer is not
currently available, because Windows CE operating systems such as
Windows Mobile 2003 do not directly support printing. (This is not an
ARM or Rating Shell issue.) Use the included SD card for backup storage
of completed rating shells. Print results after transferring data to
ARM.
Microsoft
Vista Compatibility:
Please note that the
monochrome Psion Workabout Pro version cannot connect to a PC running
Windows Vista. Microsoft supports only handhelds with Windows Mobile
2003 or newer on Vista.

of Life Announcement for Psion Workabout MX DatCol:
DatCol for the Workabout
MX cannot directly run on the Workabout Pro. (Basically, it is like DOS
vs. Windows software.) Psion offers an emulator to run adapted Workabout
software on a Workabout Pro, and unfortunately this emulator does not
work reliably with DatCol. There were enough stability and interface
issues that GDM will not offer a DatCol version for the Workabout Pro.
ARM DatCol program may still be purchased for the Psion Workabout MX
computer. |
