Why has my data disappeared in my plot data editor?

back

Answer 1: The disappearance of data or other screen elements (messages, headings, editors, etc.) can be a caused by changing color settings for various screen elements in display options. If the fore color or back color are set to the same colors for a screen element or elements text or screen elements seem to disappear when viewed.

On the ARM menu bar, select Tools then Options, and click the Display tab to view the attributes set for screen elements. Click the Help button (or press the F1 key) shown in the Display Options dialog window for a detailed description of the options available. Any changes you make for Display Options will not take effect until open study editors are refreshed or "reopened". We suggest changing these options before opening a protocol or trial.

Check whether the back color for editors is set to the same color as the text. If you cannot read "Sample" in the frame below Screen Element, then change the color in back color to a color that shows the text.

Answer 2: Assessment data columns may also be hidden because you have defined a restricted plot data view. Using the Plot Data view dialog on the Options dialog, (Tools, Options, Plot Data View), ARM can hide original or calculated data columns, or hide all columns that do not contain specified data header entries. Once a restricted view is defined, it can be cleared by quitting and restarting ARM or by selecting column choices of Both and clicking the Clear button below the Match column.
